Emi Sano graduated with a B.A. in Film and Animation, emphasis in screenwriting, at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014. After a few years of working in the film industry, Emi decided to return to her original roots in storytelling by writing fiction. She started her new writing journey with short stories and is progressing to novels.
Her debut book, "Voices: a short story collection" was her first self-published piece of work. Upon seeing the success of releasing her work, she went on to self-publish "We Don't Talk About That.", a young adult novella.
When not writing fiction, Emi enjoys being a stay-at-home mom and going on adventures with her family. Being a SAHM she's learned the value of reading blogs and articles about Parenting Life and taking care of babies. It made her feel relieved to know there's other caregivers going through the same experiences. She wanted to find a place where she can share her experiences and found it through Medium.
